What You Get
Installed to Spec & Code
Clearances, framing and venting follow the manufacturer’s installation manual and code. The work is permitted and inspected where required.
Licensed Gas & Electric
Gas lines are run by a licensed plumber and power by our licensed electrician, each under their own permits. You deal with one contractor.
The Whole Wall, Finished
Framing, drywall, stone or tile, mantel, built-ins and paint, all by one crew, so the fireplace and the room around it look like they belong together.
How It Works
Consultation & Unit
We look at the wall, the space behind it and where a vent can run, then help you choose gas, electric or wood and the right unit for the room.
Wall Layout & Price
We lay out the whole wall: fireplace height, stone or tile, mantel, TV recess and built-ins. You pick your finishes and get a written price.
Framing, Venting & Rough-In
We frame the wall with the required clearances, set the unit and run the vent. Gas and power are brought in by licensed trades, and the rough-in is inspected where required.
Finish & Walkthrough
We install the stone, tile or brick, the mantel and any built-ins, test the fireplace, clean up and show you how to run it.
Good to Know
Can I add a fireplace if my house doesn’t have one?
Usually, yes. A direct-vent gas fireplace vents straight out an exterior wall, so it doesn’t need a chimney. Electric needs no vent at all.
Gas or electric: which should I pick?
Gas gives real flame and real heat and needs a gas line and a vent. Electric is simpler and cheaper to install and works almost anywhere, but it’s more about the look than heating the room. We’ll help you decide at the consultation.
Can I mount a TV above the fireplace?
Often, yes. It depends on the unit’s heat output and the manufacturer’s clearances. We plan the TV height and recess with the unit you choose so it’s safe and comfortable to watch.
Can you update my old fireplace?
Yes. We can refresh just the surround and mantel, or put a gas insert into an existing wood fireplace.
Do I need a permit?
Gas fireplaces and new gas lines need permits and inspections. We handle the permits for our work, and the licensed trades pull their own.
