Removal & Subfloor Work
We tear out old carpet, tile, vinyl or wood and haul it away. Then we fix what's underneath: replace damaged plywood, stiffen bouncy joists, quiet squeaks, and pour self-leveler where the floor is out of flat.

Floors We've Installed
What You Get
A Flat Base First
Most floor problems start underneath. We check for moisture, dips and bounce, and fix them before anything goes down, so your new floor stays flat and quiet.
Clean Removal
We take up the old floor, contain the dust, and haul everything away, so you don't have to deal with the mess or a dumpster.
Finished Edges
New baseboards or shoe molding, matching transitions between rooms, and doors trimmed to clear the new floor height.
Tile We Source
Porcelain and ceramic tile through suppliers like Nemo Tile & Stone, or the tile you've already picked out:

How We Install
Measure & Check the Subfloor
We measure the rooms, check the subfloor for moisture, dips and bounce, and look at door heights and where the new floor meets other rooms. Then you get a written estimate that includes the prep the floor actually needs.
Remove & Prep
We remove the old flooring and haul it away. Wood and vinyl acclimate in the room before install. We repair or replace damaged subfloor, fix squeaks, and pour self-leveler where needed to get a flat, solid base.
Layout & Install
We lay out the floor from the main sightlines so the pattern looks right as you walk in. Planks get proper stagger and expansion gaps. Tile goes down over an uncoupling membrane with a leveling system, so large tiles sit flat with no lippage.
Heated Floors Add-on
Under tile, add Schluter-DITRA-HEAT electric floor warming with a smart thermostat. The same mat also helps keep tile from cracking.
Trim, Seal & Clean Up
We install baseboards or shoe molding and transitions, grout and seal tile or apply the finish coats on hardwood, then check the floor under bright light, clean up and walk it with you.
Good to Know
Do you remove the old floor?
Yes. Carpet, tile, vinyl, laminate or wood. We take it up, deal with the dust, and haul it away. It's included in your estimate as its own line so you can see what it costs.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes. If the old floor is flat, solid and the height works with your doors and transitions, floating floors like LVP can go over it. We'll tell you honestly when removal is the better choice.
Which floor is best for a basement or a rental?
Usually luxury vinyl plank or tile. Both handle moisture and heavy use far better than hardwood or laminate.
Can I supply my own tile or flooring?
Yes. Order about 10–15% extra for cuts and waste. Our warranty then covers the installation, and the manufacturer covers the material.
When can I walk on the new floor?
LVP is ready right away. Tile needs the grout to set, usually about a day. Refinished hardwood depends on the finish; we'll give you exact times for your job.
Do I need to move my furniture?
The rooms need to be clear for us to work. If you need help moving larger pieces, mention it when you request your quote and we'll include it.
