HomeAdditions
Room additions, second stories and bump-outs, built from your architect's plans. We handle the permits, foundation, framing, trades and inspections, and match the new space to the rest of your home.
Additions We Build
Rear & Side Additions
A new family room, bedroom, office or bigger kitchen built out from the house on its own foundation.
Second-Story Additions
Add a full floor or build over a garage or one-story section, with the structure checked and reinforced to carry the new load.
Bump-Outs
A few extra feet where it matters most: a larger kitchen, a bigger bathroom or a breakfast nook, without a full addition.
Primary Suites
A new bedroom with its own bathroom and closet, built as an addition or created by reworking existing space.
What You Get
One Company Start to Finish
From the foundation to the final coat of paint, we run the job and coordinate every trade, inspection and delivery, so you have one point of contact.
Built to the Engineer's Specs
Footings, beams, headers and connections built exactly as the sealed plans call for, with every stage inspected by your township before we close it up.
Looks Like It Was Always There
We tie the new roof into the old, match siding, trim, windows and floors, and line up ceiling heights, so the addition feels like part of the house.
Plans & Permits
Every Addition Starts With an Architect
In New Jersey, additions need plans sealed by a licensed architect, and often a structural engineer, before your township will issue a permit. We build from those plans, and we take care of everything after: the permit application, scheduling every inspection, and the final sign-off.
Already have plans? Send them over and we'll price the build. Don't have an architect yet? Ask us when you reach out and we'll walk you through where to start.

How We Build an Addition
Consultation & Site Visit
We walk the property with you, talk through what you want the space to do, and look at what affects the build: the lot, access for equipment, the existing foundation and roof, and where the utilities run.
Plans, Pricing & Permit
Once your architect's plans are ready, we give you a written, line-by-line price and a realistic schedule. Then we file for the permit and order long-lead items like windows and doors.
Excavation & Foundation
We call NJ 811 to mark buried utilities, then excavate and pour footings below the frost line, followed by the foundation walls or slab the plans call for. The footings are inspected before we pour.
Framing, Roof & Weather-Tight
We frame the walls, floor and roof, install the beams and headers from the engineer's plans, and tie the new roof into the existing one. Sheathing, house wrap, roofing, windows and doors go on to close it in.
Opening Up & Rough-Ins
Once the addition is closed in, we open the connection to the house. Licensed electricians, plumbers and HVAC contractors run new circuits, plumbing and ductwork under their own permits, followed by framing and rough-in inspections.
Insulation, Finishes & Final
Insulation, drywall, flooring, trim, paint and fixtures. Then the final inspection and a walkthrough with you before we hand it over.
Deep Clean Before Move-In Add-on
Our cleaning partner, Rise & Clean, does a full post-construction clean: fine dust, air scrubbing, window tracks and every surface, so you can move right in.
Windows & Doors
We install energy-efficient windows, patio doors and entry doors from Pella, chosen to match or upgrade the rest of your home:

What Affects the Cost
Good to Know
Do I need an architect?
Yes. New Jersey townships require plans sealed by a licensed architect for an addition, and a structural engineer is often involved too. We build from those plans. If you don't have an architect yet, ask us and we'll walk you through where to start.
Who pulls the permits?
We do. We submit the plans and application to your township and schedule every inspection, from footings to final. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC permits are pulled by our licensed trade partners.
What if my addition needs a zoning variance?
If your plans go beyond your lot's setback, height or coverage limits, you'll need approval from the township's zoning board first. Your architect usually guides that process, and we can price the build while you wait.
How long does an addition take?
It depends on the size, the foundation and your township's permit and inspection schedule. Once we've seen your plans, we'll give you a realistic schedule in writing, not a best-case guess.
Can we live in the house during construction?
Usually, yes. Most of the work happens outside until the addition is closed in. We keep the connection to the house sealed off until the end and protect the rooms we work through.
Will it match the rest of my house?
That's the goal. We match siding, roofing, trim, windows and flooring as closely as possible, and tell you upfront if an older material is no longer made so you can choose the closest option.
